Selling a Home in San Francisco

Melanie and Lawrence are great teams! We were moving down from San Francisco to SoCal in June 2023, but our condo in SF had a leak and manifested mold in the bedroom. HOA won't let us fix it on our own, and we needed to wait for the board to approve it before they would fix it. All the negotiations and communication would not be possible if it wasn't Melanie and her team since we're in SoCal already. She and her team even helped us fix up and staged our condo and made it more presentable. HOA went through lots of issues itself, and our place was finally finished with the wall restoration in February 2024. But the reserve was empty, and other problems arised. The insurance company dropped the community, and HOA had a second line insurance that the lending company won't accept. We couldn't wait anymore, but we started to look for a place to purchase in SoCal. As we went into escrow, our lending company in SoCal said we had to rent out our SF condo. So Melanie passed our case to Lawrence, the owner and head of the property management in the company. He and his team started to help us start the process of getting our condo rented out. Thank God that as we're going through escrow, because of all the work that Melanie and her team put in, an all cash buyer chose our unit among the other 3 units in our community. Our escrow in SoCal was able to go through because of this. Throughout the whole process, Melanie, Lawrence, and their teams were professional, communicative, informative, and with integrity. It's such a blessing to have Melanie help us through the whole selling process. I don't think there's any agent who would be so responsible, knowledgeable, and personal. Our condo in South San Francisco was not able to be put on the market because of a water leak and mold problem. Our HOA said it's from the exterior wall, so they wouldn't let us fix it ourselves. We would need to wait for the work order to go through all the board meetings to get approval. The problem is we've already moved out of the city.
